THE ITUMELENG COMMUNITY TRUST was established and formally registered in 2011 by the diamond recovery company Jagersfontein Developments (Pty) Ltd. It functions as a vehicle for corporate social responsibility programmes, initiatives and interventions for the communities of Jagersfontein, Itumeleng, Charlesville, and surrounding farming areas.
The mission of the Itumeleng Community Trust is to develop and empower the community of Jagersfontein/Itumeleng by means of public benefit activities and educational programs in an independent manner. This through good corporate governance and with integrity of the trust and interest of the communities of Jagersfontein, Itumeleng and Charlesville reigning supreme.
